Matthew Ware

Matt joined the business in 2022 after graduating from the University of Salford with a RICS approved BSc(Hons) Building Surveying degree.

He provides a full range of building surveying services including contract administration, project management, and the preparation of condition surveys. His knowledge and experience gained from building surveying is an invaluable asset as he heads up the Facilities Management team.

Matt had previously demonstrated his enthusiasm to join Fairhurst Buckley, taking the opportunity to shadow the team during annual leave from his previous job – a smart move when it came to submitting his CV. Over the years Matt has not shied away from hard graft and gained hands-on experience taking on jobs such as a builder’s labourer and roofer.

Away from the office, Matt enjoys baking pastries and breads while his wife is the cake baker in the house. Just as well, as he needs plenty of energy for the outdoor life.

Scout, the family’s four-legged pal, often leads Matt up his favourite peak – Tryfan in North Wales. It’s a family affair too –  sons have also reached the summits of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, all before they reached the age of 10! But his dream climb would be to conquer both Kilimanjaro and Everest.

 Any books on the go? “Don’t be silly, they only make people disappointed with the film adaptation of them, more of a movie goer than a book reader. However, I do read how to books with my most recent being how to use revit.”
